Regional Litter Campaign

Litter is an ongoing issue with serious environmental consequences as a result of our direct proximity to the coast. With support from our local Councils, key community groups and funding from the NSW EPA, we are committed to raising awareness around the social responsibility of stopping litter at the source within the region.

Our current campaigns focus on correct disposal of fishing line and tackle, cigarette butts and other single use plastic litter at tourist hotspots and supporting our local community groups with regular clean ups and data collection through the Australian Marine Debris initiative.

We also have an education trailer that is finding its way to more and more events, with our large litter props engaging young and old alike.

For more information on litter funding available for community groups visit NSW EPA Community Litter Grants page.
